Meet our CEO

Rachel Robles is the Founder and CEO of Art of Intelligent Minds: Psychological & Counseling Services (AIM), a nonprofit serving the Yuma community. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and has over 14 years of experience in the mental health field.

Growing up in Yuma and later working on the front lines of mental health care, Rachel has sat with countless families who felt overwhelmed, unseen, or stuck in a system that didn’t quite fit their needs. In walking alongside children, caregivers, educators, clinicians, medical doctors, and other professionals, she saw the same patterns repeat: barriers to accessing psychological evaluations, therapy that didn’t always feel truly trauma-informed, and very few spaces where families could deepen their real-life connection, heal together, and feel held by a supportive therapeutic team. Those stories, and the courage of the people living them, are what ultimately shaped her vision for AIM.

AIM was created as a response to those gaps. Under Rachel’s leadership, the organization provides comprehensive psychological evaluations, trauma-informed counseling, and unique group experiences that are grounded, practical, and collaborative. She has shaped AIM as a place where members, families, and providers work together, share ideas, and help design services—reflecting her belief that meaningful mental health care is built with the community, not just for it.

Aaron Fitch, MS is a Yuma native, child and adolescent specialist, and trauma-informed clinician. He grew up in Yuma’s public schools, playing youth and community sports, and brings that grounded, “local kid” perspective into his work with families. Aaron holds a Master of Science degree in psychology with a specialization in child and adolescent development and is currently pursuing his doctorate in psychology (PsyD). Over the past decade in community mental health, he has developed a deeply trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, shaped by the privilege of learning from many different clinical supervisors and mentors. He believes that everyone has something meaningful to offer and actively looks for, listens to, and implements the insights of the people he serves.

As a clinician and program creator at The Art of Intelligent Minds (AIM), Aaron has helped bring creative, ethical, and outside-the-box services to life—including a School-of-Rock–style youth band, improv groups for kids, and tabletop role-playing game programs that build social and emotional skills. Deeply rooted in Yuma, he loves his family, his work, and his community, and is committed to offering kids and teens a safe place to grow, experiment, and be themselves.
